Judgement, Revival, or the Last Spiritual Awakening?

        The current wave of disasters on earth, either man-made or God sent; promote an environment fertile for an awakening-or epic revival.  Revival, commonly defined as a new beginning of obedience to God and His word, is a spiritual phenomenon where backslidden  Christans and sinners experience conviction of sins committed; an ingredient that is needed for repentance.

           A Holy Spirit Revival ushers God's light into this dark world.
                              For you are my lamp O Lord
               The Lord shall enlighten my darkness."
                                                  (2Samuel:22:29).

"I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness."
(John 8:12).

        Light is the most powerful principle in creation; it causes all order, beauty, and life in the universe.  All the eerie shapes of evil that haunt the darkness vanish in daylight.  With this in mind, circumstances enveloping this present world could certainly use fresh rays of God's light.

       Although, it has been over a hundred years since the last great awakening/revival, the Bible promises in Joel chapter 2 that the Latter Rain Revival is coming.  God will empower His people in the end time for the message of hope they will carry.  Repentance and prayer is key to this end-time revival.  It will be a day like no other. It will be a Holy Spirit Revival of stupendous proportions. Is your oil in your lamp?  Will you be ready?

solidrock: INCREASING VIOLENCE in the LAND

solidrock: INCREASING VIOLENCE in the LANDfacebook

INCREASING VIOLENCE in the LAND

     God's word warns us of terrible times in the last days.  The Apostle Paul prophesied  in 2 Timothy chapter 3, verses 1-5 that;

         "In the last days there will be an overwhelming deluge of ungodliness.  That Satan will bring great destruction on the family. Children will be disobedient to their parents and men and women will be without  true love."

      True Love comes from God.

              "God is love.  Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him"
              "If anyone says, love God, yet hates his brother, he is a liar.  For anyone who does not                      love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.                                   Whoever loves God must also love his brother."

     Paul continues to warn that things will become worse as the end approaches.  The last days will be marked by ever-increasing wickedness in the world, and a collapse of moral standards and an increase of hatred for one another.  However, hate will not triumph over true love and righteousness.  Only through the Holy Spirit can we overcome the evil in this world.

      "Beloved let us love one another for love is of God; and everyone that loves is born of God, and knows God..."

    "He that says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness..."

    "THE FACE OF THE LORD IS AGAINST THEM THAT DO EVIL" (1Peter 3:12).

    "Today, if you hear His voice do not harden your heart, REPENT and be Saved.(Romans 10: 9-10).

FEAR is the NEGATION of FAITH

Fear and uncertainty hoover over this world like a hawk poised for action; fearfully wielding absolute power over the minds of the many who are watching for impending doom.  Fear has driven numerous souls to an untimely death, insanity, and numerous diseases.

  But God; has not given His children a spirit of fear, so why are there an increasingly large number of Christians choosing to embrace it?  They appear to lack spiritual understanding that God is control of this world and the affairs of men.  God is sovereign.

God's Word says; "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." (Matthew 24:6).

Fear not what is to come but, "Fear God and keep His commandments." (Ecclesiastes 12:13).
"Fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." (Matthew 10:28).
                                                                                                                                                                    If God be for me, who can be against me?     "For I am convinced the neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our LORD," (Romans 8: 38-39).
There still may be time for you to repent and get your mind and spirit in God's order.  We who belong to the true living God have His Word and His promises to rest in and be at peace.

"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7).

Recipe For Happiness

I'm back from my long journey.  Along the way I discovered this recipe for happiness written by an anonymous writer who
I may have passed on the path.

         "  2 cups of patience;
            1  heartful of love;
            2  handsful of geneorsity;
            A dash of laughter;
            1  handful of understanding;

                           Sprinkle generously with kindness;
Add plenty of Faith and mix well.  Spread over a period of a lifetime and serve everyone you meet."

  *Guaranteed to change your life and those whom you share it with.

Filling The Void

Loneliness, depression, despair, and confusion are by-products of trying to live your life without God. When we were first formed within the wombs of our mothers, God placed an empty space within our hearts that can only be filled by Him.  We can try to fill it with drugs, alcohol, pornography, sex, etc., but the void can only be filled by God and His Holy word.

As I reflect back to last year and remember all of the tragedies brought about by not heeding to God's word, I am moved to weep and pray for God's mercy and amazing Grace on the lost, those that refuse to believe and accept the Gospel.  There is a true warfare in the spiritual realm for lost souls.  It takes faith and persistence in prayer to resist the enemy until he yields and lets go of their minds.  Our authority in Christ is far above all the power of the forces of darkness that aggressively try to block the salvation of  lost souls.  To God be the Glory.

The Bible reveals that suffering and death first entered the world because of disobedience.  However, the Bible also assures us that God has a plan for redemption through His beloved Son, Jesus Christ.  (John 3:16).  Pray for soul-saving revival through, "the blood of Jesus Christ in whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins." Colossians 1:14.
