He sent His Word and healed me.

I stand in awe, at the healing power of God. That I can cry out to Jesus for healing, and He hears me, and heals me is an amazing wonder to behold. His Word is true! His promises are true!
His healing power is not just a one-time event, but it is, in fact, continuous whenever I need it. Sometimes I don't have to ask and I never have to beg. God is a good God.
Sickness and disease never glorifies God, the healing does. I pray to be in God's perfect will for His will is not for me to be sick but to walk in health all of my days.
"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper an be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." (3John 1:2).
To me prosperity is good health. No amount of money can buy good health, and no amount of riches can make my soul to prosper, only God can. As my faith and my devotion to God grows so does my soul prosper.

Prayer Is The Key

To be spiritualy independent of God by making decisions apart from praying for His guidance and His will on the subject is a very risky venture. This type of independence invokes a spirit of self-sufficiency and grieves the Holy Spirit.

When we pray to God in the name of Jesus, He puts a hedge around us which is like a spiritual immunological system to prevent demonic oppression and interference toward our prayers. We show reverence and honor, as well as obedience when we consult God in prayer.

Next, we must wait for an answer before acting if we do not want to act amiss. It doesn't matter how long it takes to get a right answer, patience will bring blessings and the right decisions.

SPIRITUAL GEMS

Jesus wouldn't have said, "follow me," if it wasn't possible. For this purpose He became a man and lived on earth to show us the way.

Anytime you try to be anything other than a Christian, you are out of place.

Jesus is the Master at making champions out of failures.

Stay always in an attitude of expecting a blessing.

God deals with no two individuals alike.

In Jesus we loose nothing worth keeping and we gain everything worth having.

Selfishness keeps you from totally yielding to the Lord and walking in His Word(ways).

The world offers you a peace based on circustances and a love based on conditions.

NEW YEAR RESOLUTION

THIS NEW YEAR LET THE FIRM RESOLVE OF YOUR HEART BE TOWARD MORE PRAYER. OUR LOVE OF GOD IS EXPRESSED THROUGH PRAYER.

Our nation is in a spiritual civil war;

  • Pray for darkness to be removed by the glorious light of Jesus Christ penetrating through the souls of men in charge of making life changing decisions for our country.

Pray for the change in government leadership to be God's will and not man's.

Pray for the boundaries of our nation to be safe and secure from the raging anger of terrorist.

Pray for our country to be spared from the shadow of famine and economic collapse hovering over our monetary system.

And finally, pray for the deceived minds of lost souls to be set free in Christ Jesus.

CAN YOU HEAR THE CRIES OF A DYING WORLD? If so, PRAY!!

REST

" SAY REST!"

“Rest,”

“That’s as close as you’re going to get to it until Jesus comes.”

Those echoing words of the Bible waving evangelist swept throughout the tent meeting that stormy night twenty years ago. Thunder and lightning encased his words and drove them right into the heart of the audience.

“There is no rest for the wicked,” he bellowed pointing his finger around the tent.

Everyone looked at his neighbor as if to say,

“It’s not me he’s pointing at.”

However, I felt he was taking direct aim at me. His words pierced my heart, because at the time I felt very wicked.
It was not until many years later that I stumbled across a passage in the book of Hebrews that Father God’s grace helped me to see with spiritual eyes.

“There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.”(Hebrews 4:9 KJV).

This passage was used to set me free from the condemnation that the evangelist had left me with all these years.

“You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.”

Oh! How sweet it is to enter into the rest of God. Life is a race of the swiftest, but sometimes along the course there needs to be periods of rest and relaxation, or you will surely falter and fall.

Another Thanksgiving

Here we go again another turkey day or is it? Is it a day set aside to gather around the dining room table and eat, or is it a day to work on our relationship skills?

The day was given to us in the beginning of U.S. history to give thanks to God for all He has provided for us. However I'm sure you know the story, but do you really get the meaning?

To give thanks for all means all. The family members that get on your nerves. The ones that are truly embarrassing. The ones you don't speak to and the ones whom you barely whisper their names.

And what about those obnoxious people you have to work with? Do you give thanks for them and your job? What about those annoying rowdy neighbors? Do you give thanks for them?

I could go on and on but I'm sure you and I have clearly understood the message. God provided all, everyone for our betterment because He is a caring loving Father.

Let's give thanks!
