IMAGE

"So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He creatd him; male and female He created them." (Genisis 1:27 NKJV).

"He created them male and female, and blessed them Mankind in the day they were created."

(Genesis 5: 2 NKJV).

As Christians, when we look into a mirror to behold our image do we see Christ or do we see the old image of self not yet crucified with Christ? Meaning, are we concerned about how others see us or how God sees us? Is our goal to present an image of Christ to the world or to glorify self? Is what others think of us our main concern or what God thinks about us?

These questions present food for thought about exactly why we were saved in the first place? Spending time in God's word will bring an answer to those questions, and gradually change our image to that of Christ likeness toward all.

GOD's Promises

I have discovered through all of my past testings and trials that forced my faith to focus on and believe the promises of God, that there is indeed power in His word.

I learned that there I have a choice to look at the circumstances and sink into depression and despair, or to believe God's promises and rise up to victory. I choose to do the latter. Now today I have the VICTORY over my present dilemma.

"How?" you ask. Here are the promises Father God gave me to rely on daily;

1. "I will never leave you or forsake you." Deuteronomy 31;6; JOSHUA 1:5; HEBREWS 13:5.

2. "THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I SHALL NOT WANT..." Psalm 23:1.

3. "For I am the LORD who heals you." Exodus 15:26.

4. "Peace I give you; not as the world give do I give to you... John 14:27.

5. "My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19.

6. "Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy." Psalm 126:5.

7. "I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.: Psalm 4:6.
