Do Words Have Power?

Shakespeare masterfully understood how people play a game with words to achieve certain ends; to cajole, to convince, to display their own wisdom, to win honor or esteem, or to wound, belittle and destroy.  Shakespeare was keenly aware of the power of words used by dictators to build their empires.  He artfully displayed that fact in his plays.

Likewise, evolving playwrights and writers of every genre went further to display the dictator tyrant's ability to manipulate the environment through words; by confiscating the press, radio, television and eventually dictating the "right" books to be read.  He burns the "wrong" ones, thus devouring "freedom of speech" and turning the populace into his slaves.

Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity.We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructive using words of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.”
Yehuda Berg
IN ADDITION, Gary Chapman in his book, "Love as a Way of Life"' uses the vivid metaphor for words as being either ‘bullets or seeds’. If we use our words as bullets with a feeling of superiority and condemnation, we are not going to be able to restore a relationship to love. If we use our words as seeds with a feeling of supportiveness and sincere goodwill, we can rebuild a relationship in positive and life-affirming ways."

But most importantly GOD said;

"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who...and,

"But the things (words) that come out of a man's mouth come from his heart and mind, and it is they that really make a man unclean (defiled).  For it is a man's mind that evil thoughts arise-murders, adulteries, fornications." (Matthew 15:11-20).

  Also,  "But I tell you that men will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every careless word they have spoken.  For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words, you will be condemned."  (Matthew 12:35-37).

How To Permanently Eradicate Evil And Hatred From Your Life

As this eventful month and this despairing year comes to a close, I hear a mournful outcry from our land ravished by violence and bloodshed flowing from countless corpses strewn from city-to-city; state-to-state, and nation-to-nation. A cry for earth's remaining human beings to return to their original form; made in God's awesome splendorous image with Agape Love-tenderness of heart, brotherly love, charity, and goodwill to your neighbor. The blood spilled out on the land cries out for an immersion in Agape Love.  The blood spilled on the Cross cries out for a restoration of Agape Love.

  However true Agape Love can only take place in the heart.  A circumcised heart.  A humble repented heart. A heart that is submitted to God.  A heart that loves God with all of its might and cares for the wellbeing of others. One not hardened and filled with pride, arrogance, antagonism, and selfishness, but pulsating with the compassion of Christ Jesus.

   Evil and Hatred are waging war against Agape Love for the soul of this Nation.  Agape Love is power.  It makes you the master of every situation.  As long as you walk in love you cannot be hurt, and you cannot fail.  No one has the power to hurt your feelings because you should not be ruled by feelings, but by God's Agape Love.

Now is the hour to put to death those things that do not come from God. Many professing believers are roaming through this land infected with the evil and hatred permeating this society, thus grieving the heart of God.  Their hearts have become hardened to the purpose God designed them to be; witnesses of His Agape Love, His Word, and  His Mercy.

REFLECTIONS

In the midst of cleaning and sorting my accumulated mountain of papers, I came across a treasure of quotes that need to be shared.  For example;

Doubt: "never sees God in the situation, but Faith says regardless of the    situation God will see me through to the other side."

"Don't doubt in the darkness what God has said in the light."

FAITH: "says God is able; God is going to see me through; if I believe and trust in Him."

"Great Faith must be tested greatly."

"Storm Trials strengthen you faith."

GRACE: "what GOD gives us to become what He wants us to become."

PRAYER: "A strong prayer life builds a relationship with God."

WORSHIP: Who or What do you worship?

"If you worship anyone or anything other than Father God or the LORD Jesus Christ than you are in serious trouble."

  "Your key reason for existence is to worship GOD!"

  "Worship is a mark of the child of GOD."

  "The key to victory over the enemy is worship."

  "Worship pleases God.  God inhabits the praises of his people."

What helps me to worship Father God, more and more, is studying His word and learning and knowing the truth about Him.  As a result, I develop an inner peace knowing that Father God is faithful and He keeps His word.

The Book Has Arrived!

Finally, after many years of writing and rewriting; battling discouragement and feelings of incompetency; my first book(God's book) has come to fruition.

The book is available on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble.com and from the publisher GreenTree Publishers, Newnan, Georgia.

I wrote the book, first of all, to give God the glory for saving me and to be obedient to His word which says;

"Write The Vision; make it plain upon tablets so he may run who reads it,"-Habakkuk 2:2.

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony," Rev.12:11 & 1:19 "Write the things which you have seen and the things which are; and the things which shall be hereafter."

Next, I wrote the book to set the "captives free" that are deceived by lies from the enemy of our thoughts, that suicide is a problem solver; it definitely is not.  Suicide is the number two (2) leading cause of all deaths in America and worldwide over 800,00 people die by suicide every year.

 And, to set the "captives free" from fear and guilt; tools of the enemy, that if they are not conquered they will be used to lead you to death.  Guilt never says you are worthy of anything and that you are not forgiven.  Fear creates a situation in your mind that hasn't happened yet.

"The responsibility of the Christian writer is to convey right ideas.  An idea that can stir others must instruct, delight, inspire.  The writer's task is to find words to create understanding, to provide a bridge between his mind and heart and the minds and hearts of his readers."- Elizabeth Yates.

Last but not least, I wrote the book as a legacy to my living children and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and those to come.

May all of you who chose to read the book be blessed beyond measure.

Thank you!
