God said, "Let there be light".
Jesus is the light of the world; without Him, you dwell in eternal darkness, because the light is the most powerful principle in creation. It is the cause of all the order and beauty, and life of the universe. It is the most universal of all forces; it paints the flowers and the rainbow; it glimmers in the remotest star in space, it fades away in the dim hue of the smallest organism in the deepest abyss of the ocean. Beyond its influence, everlasting death and silence reign. It is the most necessary of all the forces of the universe. Light is always needed. Jesus is always needed.
Pray for God to be your light and salvation today!

Watch What You Feed Your Mind
Thoughts are bold, daring, strong and persistent things that can drop down into your spirit and take root. A healthy mind is one that is open to the light at all points. A healthy mind is not scholastic or theological, but broadly human. Therefore, beware of books that contain no "pure mental milk". The mind needs to be nourished, and the word of GOD; the Bible, is intended for that purpose.
Emerson said,
"The cure for false theology is mother-wit".
The idea that we leave our mind behind when we become Christians is blatantly unbiblical. There is a tendency among Christians to denigrate the use of the mind.
But in Romans 12: 1-2;
God said, "We should be transformed by the renewing of our minds".
And Peter wrote his first and second letter as reminders and to stimulate his readers to wholesome thinking. 2Peter 3:1 and prepare our minds for action. 1Peter 1-13 NIV. Peter makes us aware that the spiritual battlefield is our minds. Ungodly thoughts destroy relationships. They usher in negative thoughts of doubt, despair, deception, depression which all lead to death.
"As you think ;so you are".

Five Possible Reasons God Permits Problems
The daily problems we face will either defeat us or develop us into stronger individuals depending on our response to them. Most people fail to see how God wants to use problems for good in their lives. They react foolishly and resent their problems rather pausing to consider what benefit they might bring. Here are five reasons God may have permitted the problems you experience in your life:
1). God permits problems to DIRECT you. Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God allowing this situation to get your attention? Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways. Proverbs 20:30.
2). God permits problems to INSPECT you. People are like tea bags...if you want to know what is inside them just drop them into hot water! Has God tested your faith by allowing a problem or two into your life? What do problems reveal about you? When you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience.
James 1:2-3
3). God uses problems to CORRECT you. Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure. It's likely that as a child your parents told you not to touch a hot stove. But you probably learned by being burned. Sometimes we learn the value of something...health, money, a relationship...by losing it
Psalm 119:71-72
4). God permits problems to PROTECT you. A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from being harmed by something more serious.
Genesis 50:20
5). God permits problems to PERFECT you. Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders. Your relationship with God and your character are the only two things you're going to take with you into eternity.
Romans 5:3-4
