FRIENDSHIP

Someone once said, "to have a friend you must first be a friend." This is so true.

Friendship is a tapestry of woven trusts, cares, sacrifices, and the greatest of these is love.

Friendship doesn't expect something in return for everything given.

Friendship is not rude. Rudeness is becoming a bi-product of our times.

Friendship listens and does not need to always answer.

Friendship does not compete with friends. It rejoices with them.

Friendship is loyal and protective. It does not expect perfection.

Friendship is quick to forgive and ask for forgiveness.

Friendship does not smother its friends.

Friendship speaks words that heal not hurt.

Finally, ask God to put kind words in your mouth and pour out His Agape love for others through you. and you will always have at least one or two friends that will stick by your side.

Little Boy Lost

All of his heroes one by one lost their heads;

No one to believe in,

No one to inspire.

All hope gone.

Only death, destruction and pain.

Ease it, ease it.

Drug it, drug it.

Now it won't complain.

Now he can't complain.

Pass away the day,

Pass away the night,

Pass away the year,

Pass away the life.

Wake up! wake up!

Reach for the light, grab salvation,

Hope in Jesus Christ and live.

AGE IS NO EXCUSE

Dr. Irving Lorge, a psychologist at Columbia University discovered through a series of tests that older people lose nothing in mental power if they will keep up their active interests. The ability of the mind to think and create, baring illness, is with you until age of 90 and past. “Your body gets old,” Dr. Lorge says, “but not your mind if you care to use it. The mind never retires!”
A host of dramatic historical instances point up this fact:
1. Rodin the sculptor did some of his finest work after age 70.
2. Michelangelo was 70 when he painted the frescoes in the Sistine Chapel.
3. Verdi composed the opera Otello at age 75.
4. Falstaff at age 80, and Anatole France age 80 and Thomas Hardy at 88 were in the full flush of literary creation.
5. At age 98, Titian painted the Battle of Lepanto.
6. In addition, don’t forget Grandma Moses who began her painting career at the age of 70. One of her paintings, Fourth of July, still hangs in the White House today.
7. Now you can turn to the Bible and cite numerous saints who were used by God after the age of maturity.
Therefore, whatever Father God has put in your heart to do for Him to bring eternal life to others, don’t hesitate because of age. That is a diversionary tactic used by the enemy.

God is Not a God of Recession

"The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied," (Psalm 37:18-19)KJV.

I found this promise from God's word today and I'm holding onto it as I go through this time of testing that is upon the earth. I believe this word because God can not lie. He is the only one I know who I can trust to be honest and truthful with me at all times.

However, all of Father God's promises have a conditional "if" attached to them. If I continually seek God daily and meditate in His word daily with great diligence, I will be able to stand strong on His promises.

STAND STRONG

Don't be moved away from your faith in God's Word. Instead be encouraged, Father God will keep us and His promises to us during this trying period gripping this nation. The children of God will not know poverty, hunger or a recession for;

"Through God we shall do valiantly: for He it is that shall tread down our enemies," Psalm 108:13 & 60:12(KJV).

The prices of gas, food, housing etc., may rise and rise but we shall not be moved. We look to Father God to supply all of our needs, not to man. He is our Father and He will provide. Search His word and find His promises. Hold them in your heart and believe them.

Above all, keep the Faith and do not believe the evil reports on the news. Believe God and His Word more so now than ever before. Remember His past faithfulness to you. Do not give up. Do not be discouraged.

"Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you." (1Peter 5:7)KJV.

This is a time to rejoice as we witness the supernatural working of the LORD during ths period of stress and famine in the land. Rejoice!, the time for Jesus our LORD and Saviour to return is drawing near. And again I say Rejoice!!

Our Nation Is In the Grips of Fear

"Fear Not" is what the Word of God says over and over again but, what is so often the case, very few people heed the words of wisdom found in the Bible. Anything that takes away your freedom or your precept ion of freedom produces fear.

That's what happened to me when I was having a constant diet of the morning news, the afternoon news and of course the evening and late night news. Fear began to creep over me and I was experiencing panic and anxiety instead of faith and peace. I gradually lost sight of God's word that clearly says in:

2Timothy 1:7 -
"For God has not given us the spirit of fear;but of power, and love, and of a sound mind." (KJV).

Fear negates Faith. Faith leads and fear drives. Both demand to be fulfilled and both demand your attention. Both have access to your thoughts.

I Overcame fear with prayer and a renewed mind. I went back to feeding on God's promises in His word that He would never leave me or forsake me, or leave me hungry and begging for bread. I meditated on His faithfulness and gradually my peace returned.

I realized later on that fear is a sin because, it doubts God's ability to fulfill His promises. Consequently, I repented and then I was filled with a "peace that passes all understanding."

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not you heart be troubled neither let it be afraid." John 14: 27 (KJV).

I Can't Help Praising His Name

I am ever so thankful that Father God is real and His Word is true, (John 7:28 & 8:26 KJV).
He sent His Word and healed me, (Psalm 107:20 KJV).

During the month of March I literaly walked through the shadow of death with Father God at my side, and going before me, and covering my back. Surrounded by His presence and knowing in my spirit that it was not yet time for me to surrender my soul to the dust I persevered in prayer and faith.

I cried out and He heard me, He saw my tears, and He healed me, (Psalm 30:2).

Good health, perfect health, sustaining health is more precious than all of the money in the world. Never, never, take it for granted. If you have it, guard it with prayer and thanksgiving along with proper eating habits and a moderate lifestyle.

Be Blessed!
